What we've been up to

Spencer finished up his basketball season
We took Parker and Carter to the zoo

Someone turned 10!

Trick candles were tricky

Friend party.  They went swimming.
Loves to "sell" lemonade with our neighbors.  They give it away for free.

Someone turned 7!  Had a pajama and pancake party.

We decorated pillowcases for one of the activities.
Someone learned how to ride a bike with no training wheels!
Look at her go.
We celebrated her actual birthday with a ice cream cake.  She looks a little worn out from blowing out all of her candles.

She decided to take the family to a trampoline park.  It was way fun!

We went to the SLC Cemetery and looked around for all of the cool graves.

And we all sure love this kid.

And Parker celebrated his pretend birthday at preschool, since he has a summer birthday.

He's here!

Carter arrived so fast on Tuesday and we couldn't be happier!  By the time we got to the hospital to the time he arrived it was 1 hour 2 minutes.
7lbs 6oz

Happy brothers and sister.

We love him!

Christmas Break So Far

All the kids had their Christmas programs.  Here's Parker's preschool one.  Look at those cute shirts they made.

Snowed on Christmas Eve and we had a white Christmas.

Went to This is the Place Park with Kyle's parents.

Christmas Eve PJ's.

Walking out Christmas morning.

Enjoying family.
Had to include this.  We all wrote our names on cups so we didn't waste so many.  Spencer wrote "Spencer the Man" on his.   Carly later snuck in and wrote boob on his cup....  I thought it was pretty dang funny.  Luckily, Spencer did too.

Again, playing in the snow.  Kyle and Spencer went skiing, so the rest of us played in the snow we had out front.

Christmas Carriage Ride and Lights

We have always wanted to ride the horse drawn carriages at temple square, so this year was our year.
This kids were sure excited!

One of the views from our carriage ride. SO fun to see the lights all around temple square and listen to the gallop
of the horse.  Now, the only way it would have been better is if there would have been snow, but
we will take what we can get!  At least it wasn't that cold.
After our ride, we got hot cocoa and cookies and then went and saw the nativity and walked around to see more of the lights.  It's so fun to live so close to Temple Square!

Locks of Love

Carly before school this morning, with wet hair, but I HAD to take a picture of her long hair!  We were headed to get her hair cut right after school.

Ready for the first snip

No going back!
Holding her 12 inch ponytail.

After with cute Aunt Kelli.
Here's the final product.  She loves it and when we got home she kept looking in the mirror and saying how cute her hair was.

Proud of her for choosing to donate her hair to Locks of Love! She's such a cutie!
