Today 2 of my sisters and I went to a wedding reception of a boy I use to babysit! He is really like my little brother and it was SO GREAT to see him and his family. Afterwards, the sisters went out and had a fun time together.

Went to our first arena football game today and as long as we get him a big bag of popcorn, he sits still the whole time and we can all enjoy the game.

We got ourselves a trampoline this weekend and the kids were out on it all day.

Staticky hair from the trampoline.

Took the YW to the temple today to do baptisms for the dead. Only 2 showed up (such a busy time of year!), but it was super fun and great to get to know these two better.

I just love him. This is what I found when it was time to get to bed.

Kyle was on-call today and this is the text picture he sent me during the night. I just had to use it for my picture of the day.

Kyle's parents came up for the weekend and we went on a family bike ride. We went about 10 miles on the trail. We had to stop at one point because the trail was covered in water from the river and closed down... so we just turned around and went the other way.

Went to the cemetary today with the family to commemorate Memorials Day weekend.

And today we were down visiting my parents. We went mountain biking/hiking. Even though we almost froze and it snowed on us at one point, it was a blast!

Carly was gone this week visiting my parents so she's missing from this week's pictures.

I love all of these windows in our front room. I love the light that comes in and I love being able to see all over the neighborhood from the couch. But one thing that I think I won't love come summer, is how hot it gets when the sun shines through. It got warm today and we got a taste of the heat... but so far, it's been so dang rainy and cold that it hasn't been too much of an issue yet.

I bought this for myself for my birthday. :) We finally put it up on the wall and I love it! Now I just need to fill it with pictures...

Sunday naps for everyone (but me). It's so nice having a bigger bed now so that everyone can fit on it at once... I think.

One of the top 5 games we play for FHE. We call it the spray game. The person who is holding the spray bottle thinks of a category, let's say fruit, and then the people on the couch take turns naming different fruit. Whoever says the fruit that the person holding the spray bottle is thinking of, gets sprayed in the face. I don't know why the kids love it so much, but they request to play it ALL the time.

I found a 100% whole wheat bread recipe that is delicious. Finally! I made two loaves today and there is nothing better than this bread- warm, with honeybutter on it. Yum!

These two decided to play dress up today and they'd come out with something new on and beg me to take a picture of them. They were playing so well together that I had to oblige. (I think because of their age difference, they just usually don't play together, but since Carly was gone, they really got a chance to play. So fun!)

Today was our 1oth anniversary. Kyle and I agreed that we wouldn't get each other anything and you'd think after ten years that I'd learn that even if we both agree on that, he will always get me something.... Oh well. I've always wanted one of these and it was delivered to me today. So fun and SO yummy!

We had our ward YW fundraiser/BBQ tonight. It was a lot of fun, and obviously

Parker had a lot of fun too. Look at that dirty face!

Happy Mother's Day to me.

As I was ironing Kyle's shirts (I have to throw that in there, so you know I was being
productive), *Spencer got in the dish detergent and somehow the corn meal....

*Ha! Yes, I meant Parker- NOT Spencer. Poor kid gets blamed for enough

around here without my help...

Love me a sleeping kid!

Before picture. I bought these at D.I for 4 bucks! I painted them white

today and they just need another coat of paint before I finish them.

After Kyle got off of work, these two practiced their fly fishing form in our

front yard. I think they're ready to hit the river.

The Power Of Moms

Hey Everyone,
Since Mother's Day is tomorrow, I just wanted to tell you about a great website that is devoted to helping moms. I love it. I love the inspiring stories, the help, the ideas, etc. It just helps me keep some things in perspective, which is always nice.

Also, one of the creators of this website is Kyle's cousin and she's just a wonderful person. Just read some of her articles and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, take a look at it and you won't regret it.

Today we all went to the Scout-A-Rama.

I am loving all of the blossoms on the trees in our neighborhood. Welcome
Spring!

I almost forgot to take a picture today, so I hurried and took one

of one of our favorite things- pineapple. We love grilling them- YUM!

It is my birthday today. It was a great day. I took the

younger kids and met my mom at Thanksgiving Point for the

Tulip Festival. It was really fun and great to be with my

mom for my birthday.

And today I cut my hair... short (for me). I'm so lucky to have a great sister-in-law

that has her own salon and she does a FANTASTIC job! I'm really excited to have a

new hairdo. I love it!

Such a great day today! We took advantage of the sunshine and planted

half of our garden. Can't wait to have fresh peas, tomatoes, corn, spinach, carrots, and much more!!!!

I love this picture of Parker. He just loves playing in the dirt and mud- I DON'T love that

he tracks it in the house though.
