San Diego

We went on a last minute vacation to San Diego.  Here are tons of pictures:

We had to go to the beach!  So fun!

Collected a ton of sea shells
We stayed until the sun set.  So relaxing and so beautiful!
We went to SeaWorld.  You should have seen all of us crammed into a photo booth!!

You can't tell, but these two were SOAKED!  Sat on the 3rd row.
Had fun feeding the sea lions (and trying to keep the fish away from the seagulls-one snatched a fish right out of Spencer's hand.)
Road on every ride

Took a day and went to the San Diego Zoo.  The second half of the day, it got so crowded!  We saw everything we could, and then left early to keep our sanity.

We couldn't leave without standing in line to see a panda though.
Everyone is doing their elephant impersonation.
The kids went swimming a lot at our hotel.
Don't know why this is so blurry, but you get the idea.  After the zoo, we went to the Mormon Battalion site.  Super fun! Then we went to Old Town and ate a yummy dinner.
Went to SeaWorld again for day 2.  It rained most of the day, but was still super fun.
Kyle feeding the sting rays a fish.  Look at that thing suck on his hand!  The kids didn't dare try, but Kyle and I had fun feeding them!
Argh!

Great picture of one of the fun rides!  Love the kids faces
of pure terror.  :)

Happy Fall-idays!

Fall is one of my favorites right now (let's get honest- every start of every season is always my favorite) But really, Fall is pretty dang cool.
Kyle got off of work early a couple weeks ago (which is a rarity, especially lately) and we wanted to do something.  So he took me and P-man up to Snowbird and we took in all the changing colors.
Beautiful.  Pictures do no justice to it, but here's a try.

And of course, Fall also means school pictures.  We got Parkers back (still waiting for the other 2), don't you think he is the cutest?  He is sure the funnest kid ever.  We love him.

Amid Our Chaos

We got to go to the Brigham City Temple Open House.  Despite the look on Carly's face, we all had a great time.

Firstish day of school.  Carly was sick for the first day of school, so this is her actual first day and Spencer's 2nd day.
So far they love their teachers.

A few days later, Parker started preschool.  He was SO excited.  He goes in the afternoon and I bet he asked me
100 times when it was time to go during the morning.
Here's his awesome backpack.  He loves it.

And not to be outdone, here's his sweet dino shoes.
Here he is on the "red carpet" going into preschool.
And soccer has pretty much run our life the past 2 months.  Carly in action.

Parker in action. He made a ton of goals this season and loved giving the other players hugs afterwards to celebrate.
Spencer playing goalie and doing a drop kick after he stopped a goal.

Chest bump to celebrate.

August Bits

We went to East Canyon Reservoir and hiked down all the rocks to get to the waters edge.  The water is down quite a bit from the drought.  We just threw rocks into the water, but the kids had a lot of fun.

The kids all started soccer this week which is a little crazy!  I went to Parkers game while Kyle dropped Spencer off at another park and then took Carly to another park to watch her play...  yes all three kids had their games at the same time at different parks around town! But don't they all just look so dang cute in their soccer uniforms?

So here's a picture of Parker at his game.  He's actually one of the better players on his team this year.  Granted, it's because Parker actually focuses a little better on the game of soccer than most of the other kids.  One kid kept flopping on the ground and crying when he didn't get the ball, or if he tripped- which was quite often.  Luckily he was on the other team.  It was sure fun to watch all of these 3 and 4 year olds playing though!
And this is Parker making sure his friend was okay after he fell down.

And after his game, we rushed over to Spencer's game to see the last 15 minutes of his game.  He was playing goalie and taking it all very seriously.  It was sure fun to watch him and a little stressful!  He did quite good though and I think he's officially the team's goalie (one of two) which we are all excited about!

And Carly and I went to take pictures of a family this week and while we were waiting for the family to come, we just took some fun pictures of Carly.

And summer is winding down as the kids all start school next week.  We are all excited.  Me especially.  :)

Just bits.

Took the kids to the aquarium to cross something off our bucket list.

Celebrated Pioneer Day

Cleaning day is always an adventure at our house.
Celebrated someone's 4th birthday!

He chose a superhero party.
My sad attempt at superhero cupcakes.

And his ice cream cake. Yum.

In front of his stash.
We went camping at Fishlake last weekend.

Had too much fun roasting marshmallows/playing in the fire.
The boys went biking.
And everyone went fishing (but me)

We went to Lagoon that same weekend.

The kids had so much fun.  They all went on every ride that they could, even the big rollercoasters that they were tall enough for.
Self portrait on one of the rides.  Carly has to always be making a face.
