Amid Our Chaos

We got to go to the Brigham City Temple Open House.  Despite the look on Carly's face, we all had a great time.

Firstish day of school.  Carly was sick for the first day of school, so this is her actual first day and Spencer's 2nd day.
So far they love their teachers.

A few days later, Parker started preschool.  He was SO excited.  He goes in the afternoon and I bet he asked me
100 times when it was time to go during the morning.
Here's his awesome backpack.  He loves it.

And not to be outdone, here's his sweet dino shoes.
Here he is on the "red carpet" going into preschool.
And soccer has pretty much run our life the past 2 months.  Carly in action.

Parker in action. He made a ton of goals this season and loved giving the other players hugs afterwards to celebrate.
Spencer playing goalie and doing a drop kick after he stopped a goal.

Chest bump to celebrate.

August Bits

We went to East Canyon Reservoir and hiked down all the rocks to get to the waters edge.  The water is down quite a bit from the drought.  We just threw rocks into the water, but the kids had a lot of fun.

The kids all started soccer this week which is a little crazy!  I went to Parkers game while Kyle dropped Spencer off at another park and then took Carly to another park to watch her play...  yes all three kids had their games at the same time at different parks around town! But don't they all just look so dang cute in their soccer uniforms?

So here's a picture of Parker at his game.  He's actually one of the better players on his team this year.  Granted, it's because Parker actually focuses a little better on the game of soccer than most of the other kids.  One kid kept flopping on the ground and crying when he didn't get the ball, or if he tripped- which was quite often.  Luckily he was on the other team.  It was sure fun to watch all of these 3 and 4 year olds playing though!
And this is Parker making sure his friend was okay after he fell down.

And after his game, we rushed over to Spencer's game to see the last 15 minutes of his game.  He was playing goalie and taking it all very seriously.  It was sure fun to watch him and a little stressful!  He did quite good though and I think he's officially the team's goalie (one of two) which we are all excited about!

And Carly and I went to take pictures of a family this week and while we were waiting for the family to come, we just took some fun pictures of Carly.

And summer is winding down as the kids all start school next week.  We are all excited.  Me especially.  :)

Just bits.

Took the kids to the aquarium to cross something off our bucket list.

Celebrated Pioneer Day

Cleaning day is always an adventure at our house.
Celebrated someone's 4th birthday!

He chose a superhero party.
My sad attempt at superhero cupcakes.

And his ice cream cake. Yum.

In front of his stash.
We went camping at Fishlake last weekend.

Had too much fun roasting marshmallows/playing in the fire.
The boys went biking.
And everyone went fishing (but me)

We went to Lagoon that same weekend.

The kids had so much fun.  They all went on every ride that they could, even the big rollercoasters that they were tall enough for.
Self portrait on one of the rides.  Carly has to always be making a face.

We know how to celebrate Pioneer Day!

Our ward got invited to participate in the Days of 47 Childrens Parade downtown.  Here are the 3 kiddos with their shields they made.

Here's Spencer excited to see us watching the parade.  (Kyle's parents came up and watched the parade too)

Kyle is the best dad and walked in the parade with the 2 younger ones.  (They waited like 3 hours for the parade to start before they started! )
Carly putting her carpentry skills to work

The boys made helicopters (we got these at the park after the childrens parade, they had a huge party and everything was free!  So fun!)

Carly made a bird house.

We celebrated Pioneer Day at our usual place(Hinckley) and no Pioneer Day celebration would be complete without someone from our family wrestling a pig!

The Hinckley parade - where there's so much candy, the kids can't keep up!

Annual tradition of picture taking

Great Grandparents and all the great grandkids and grandkids (Only missing a couple on missions)

Took the kids to a little splash park in Delta after the celebrations.

July Bits

Panning for Gold at This Is The Place Park.  If you find gold, you can keep it or go to the bank and turn it in for candy.  Needless to say, all the kids wanted to go to the bank.

Riding the small train in the Native American Village

Getting in trouble in the school house.  :)
Riding ponies.

Independence Day Fireworks
Watching the parade.  We all loved it!

Antelope Moonlight Ride.  22 miles.  Beautiful.  Perfect weather.  Lots of fun.
Sore bum.  Will definitely do again next year.  :)

Self Portrait before the ride began.
