P365

I don't know what we did for fun before we got our trampoline.

A typical day and I'm up bright and early. I keep thinking it will get easier, but it isn't.

This morning I dropped Spencer off at the church so he could go to his first day at cubscout day camp.

Today I went to a neighborhood "mom" party and they asked us to bring a treat. I brought this yummy fruit slush. Click here for the recipe. YUM!

We hiked up to Doughnut Falls this morning. We hiked through mud, snow, and a river, but it was a really great hike for the kids. (You can barely see the waterfall over Kyle's head- still working on my self-timer skills.)

My mom gave me these patriotic decorations today and I hung them up. We are ready for the Fourth around here!

First day of Girls Camp for my church.

The girls pranked us leaders WAY good today. So funny!

Last day of camp for me today. I had to go home a day early and be a mom. :) A few of us went on a little hike and I just snapped this picture of me and one of my favorite people.

It's fireworks time and this is Kyle's idea of combining fireworks and weeding. He's a pyro. Enough said.

This is how we watched the NBA playoffs- final game. This is the ONLY way I'd watch it...

We made our own frozen pops today and enjoyed them for our before bedtime snack. These ones were chocolate/banana/peanut butter. Yum!

Our garden is starting to grow! And I'm getting excited!

We drove down to the Mormon Miracle Pageant today and met Kyle's parents there. It's the first time our kids have gone. It rained on us and thundered and lighteninged and we got eaten by swarms of mosquitoes before the pageant started, but during the pageant it only rained on us a little bit. We got home at 2 AM and we are all still recovering!

Date night! We went to eat, went shopping, went and watched part of a baseball game and then walked around the park by our house. The water from the river is just starting to come over the sides.

We took the family to Seven Peaks today. It was a little chilly, but we all had fun anyway!

The boys came home from the Father and Sons campout today. This cute and filthy kid
had a blast! So did the other boys.

Happy Fathers Day! It's kind of been one of those days.... We're just celebrating the fact that we haven't caused bodily harm to any of the kids today. It seems like the kids act up most on Fathers and Mother's Day. Is it just us? But the morning DID start out great with the kids excited to give Kyle their presents and homemade cards.

Made this today. I am going to try to paint the tray still, but I'm deciding on a color. I just wanted something that the kids/husband could look at for what we're eating that day, plus it helps hold me accountable.

I'm so sad this picture is a little blurry! This is some of our Young Women. We helped fill a ton of sandbags for our neighborhood for our activity.

I've been watching my cute neice the last few days. The kids just swoon over her and give her a ton of attention!

I painted my fingernails blue today (so not me) and Kyle HATED it, but I was getting ready for a muddy day the next day and didn't want to see any of the mud under my fingernails. Figured this would do the trick, and it did!

Ran the Dirty Dash today with some awesome girls! It was so much fun and I'm still finding mud in my ears... seriously.

Look at what I have to compete with... (taken with my phone, sneakily.)

The kids helped me make our summer bucket list. We are all really excited to try to do all of these fun things this summer!

Spencer's been at my mom and dads this week for "Grandma Bootcamp 2011" Ha, that sounds like he has to work or something, but nope, he gets S.P.O.I.L.E.D! My sister took this picture of him and I decided to use it for my picture of the day. Lucky kid!

I am loving our backyard. This is after we were done relaxing and talking one night. I love sitting outside and enjoying everything about Spring! Definitely one of my favorite things to do- sitting and talking with my family.

Today we got invited to my sister's swimming pool to play. Carly LOVED it and keeps begging to go back.

Today we were lucky enough to host our nieces one year old birthday bash. Spencer decided to make use of some of the wrapping paper from her gifts.

Cross off the first thing on our Summer Bucketlist! We went to Antelope Island today and we swam in the Great Salt Lake. It was so much fun!!! Can't wait to get cracking on the rest of the things on our list!

Dirty Dash 2011

We had a fun, dirty time yesterday running the Dirty Dash. It was hard, but fun and we'd do it again, I think...

Before our heat started.

Right before the race started.

At one of the many obstacles. My favorite was the almost 200 foot long slip n slide going down the mountain. It was worth hiking up this steep, muddy hill to do!

Running in all the mud.

Almost at the end. One of the 3 mud swimming pits we had to go through.

Finished and muddy.

Our team at the end of the 5K (I swear it was longer! HA!)

Today 2 of my sisters and I went to a wedding reception of a boy I use to babysit! He is really like my little brother and it was SO GREAT to see him and his family. Afterwards, the sisters went out and had a fun time together.

Went to our first arena football game today and as long as we get him a big bag of popcorn, he sits still the whole time and we can all enjoy the game.

We got ourselves a trampoline this weekend and the kids were out on it all day.

Staticky hair from the trampoline.

Took the YW to the temple today to do baptisms for the dead. Only 2 showed up (such a busy time of year!), but it was super fun and great to get to know these two better.

I just love him. This is what I found when it was time to get to bed.

Kyle was on-call today and this is the text picture he sent me during the night. I just had to use it for my picture of the day.

Kyle's parents came up for the weekend and we went on a family bike ride. We went about 10 miles on the trail. We had to stop at one point because the trail was covered in water from the river and closed down... so we just turned around and went the other way.

Went to the cemetary today with the family to commemorate Memorials Day weekend.

And today we were down visiting my parents. We went mountain biking/hiking. Even though we almost froze and it snowed on us at one point, it was a blast!

Carly was gone this week visiting my parents so she's missing from this week's pictures.

I love all of these windows in our front room. I love the light that comes in and I love being able to see all over the neighborhood from the couch. But one thing that I think I won't love come summer, is how hot it gets when the sun shines through. It got warm today and we got a taste of the heat... but so far, it's been so dang rainy and cold that it hasn't been too much of an issue yet.

I bought this for myself for my birthday. :) We finally put it up on the wall and I love it! Now I just need to fill it with pictures...

Sunday naps for everyone (but me). It's so nice having a bigger bed now so that everyone can fit on it at once... I think.

One of the top 5 games we play for FHE. We call it the spray game. The person who is holding the spray bottle thinks of a category, let's say fruit, and then the people on the couch take turns naming different fruit. Whoever says the fruit that the person holding the spray bottle is thinking of, gets sprayed in the face. I don't know why the kids love it so much, but they request to play it ALL the time.

I found a 100% whole wheat bread recipe that is delicious. Finally! I made two loaves today and there is nothing better than this bread- warm, with honeybutter on it. Yum!

These two decided to play dress up today and they'd come out with something new on and beg me to take a picture of them. They were playing so well together that I had to oblige. (I think because of their age difference, they just usually don't play together, but since Carly was gone, they really got a chance to play. So fun!)

Today was our 1oth anniversary. Kyle and I agreed that we wouldn't get each other anything and you'd think after ten years that I'd learn that even if we both agree on that, he will always get me something.... Oh well. I've always wanted one of these and it was delivered to me today. So fun and SO yummy!
